Double Take…

Do you ever look at something and wonder exactly what you are looking at?  Well here is one for you…. Check out this picture…. What do you think you are looking at?  Are you sure you know?

Look again – look closer!!!

If you guessed that it is a basked of crabs you would only be half wrong.  It is a basket of crabs – made of white chocolate!!  This is actually a wedding cake.  The crabs, corn and Old Bay Seasoning container are made of white chocolate.  The sand is crushed graham crackers and vanilla wafers.  The mallets are made from fondant.  The entire cake cost over $700 and was used in a Louisiana wedding.  I wish I was able to tell you who made the confection – but it was forwarded to me in an email and I don’t know who made the beautiful creation!  If anyone knows – I’d be more than happy to give them proper credit.  I often find myself baking cakes, and I know this wasn’t an easy task!!
