About the Market

Sea Eagle Market is a family owned and operated wholesale and retail market.  Besides providing fresh seafood to the LowCountry, we also do catering.  The Reaves family owns 3 shrimp trawlers and 5 oyster boats.  With this we produce Wild Caught South Carolina Seafood, Certified SC Product thru the SC  Department of Agriculture.  After 40 years in the seafood industry, we are also well connected on the Carolina coast.  Things that we don't catch ourselves, we buy from other local docks that support local fishermen.  We are harvesters of the ocean's bounty.
 

About the Family

The Reaves Family has been in the seafood business since 1970 when Laten started Reaves Brother's Seafood in Holden Beach, North Carolina.  Since then, we have been a part of every aspect of the seafood business.  In 1980, Laten and Alice opened their first restaurant, Reaves Fish Camp.  Over the years, they have owned 4 restaurants. 

In 1993, Craig and Jana started C.J. Seafood which was their wholesale business, delivering to Myrtle Beach.  In 17 years, they have grown to two retail locations: Sea Eagle Market and C.J. Seafood Express.  They also provide wholesale services from Hilton Head to Myrtle Beach and even further upon request and when possible.  In addition they participate in as many festivals and special catering events as they can.
